Clifford E. Oman

Clifford Edward Oman, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, and formerly of Westport, Connecticut, died peacefully Monday, September 17th, at home with his family.
Born in Chisholm, Minnesota, he was the husband of the late Phyllis Jocelyn Oman and son of the late Clifford Leonard Oman and Myrtle Agnes Oman of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Surviving are his daughter, Judith Oman Sneed of Savannah, Georgia, his daughter-in-law and son, Patricia Landry Oman and Bruce Edward Oman of Mandeville, Louisiana and his sisters, Vera Mae Stewart of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Eunice Chapman of Reno, Nevada.
Mr. Oman was retired as a Director and former Executive Vice President of National Distillers and Chemical Corporation. He was graduated from The University of Minnesota College of Engineering and The Sloan School of Senior Executive Management at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 26th at Fox & Weeks Hodgson Chapel, 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406 prior to his entombment at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
